Last month, Jayme and I took a "no kid" trip to Nashville. Our good friends Chris and Brooke moved there about a year ago and we hadn't been down yet to visit. The same weekend we were there, Emily was doing a Triathlon in Nashville. So, we killed two birds with one stone on this visit! We drove down on a Friday afternoon. David and Emily drove over after work (over- it's more like 2 hours, but still....) We all went out to dinner together then crashed back at the Dittman's place. Saturday, Chris had to work so the rest of us went shopping (of course) and out to lunch. Booke, Emily and I got some killer deals at the outlets! Later that day, David and Emily left to go visit with their friends and Chris FINALLY got off work. We did some more shopping and went out for dinner. Fun times! Sunday, we woke up early and drove downtown to watch Emily in her race. It was seriously the hottest day ever. We were all sweating just standing still. Emily did a great job, finished the race, and we all went out to lunch to celebrate!!!
