Daddy's Girl

Over the summer Jayme was allowed to work four 10 hour days. Each week, he took off on Friday and had a "Daddy Day". Jayme is great about doing housework so he usually got his chores (laundry and vacuuming) done on his day off. I know there was a lot of video game playing and probably tv watching as well! 

A few days over the summer, Brianna got to go to work with Jayme. She often tells us that Daddy has a fun job and Mommy's job is boring. She's totally right! Jayme works at the UC's Campus Recreation Center. He has a cool boss and fun people to work with. Not that I don't, but let me just give you some examples. 

-They let employees bring their dogs to work.  *This would never work with Piper as we all know. He would be busy barking at everyone, stealing/begging for food, and digging through the garbage cans. Other than that, he really is a good dog!* 

-They can wear shorts

-On numerous occasions he gets to leave early just b/c his boss lets him

-Over the summer they have left to go to a Red's game, and another time to go canoeing/kayaking

- They can work out during work time.

- They have walkie-talkies.

See......told you.....fun! 

Since they have a Kid's Camp (which Brianna will be going to all of next summer), Jayme would sometimes take Brianna with him and she'd participate in the activities. Jayme would take a "break" and go down and swim with her, and she'd sit at the front desk and swipe IDs (that was her favorite part of the day).
