Summer Vacation

This year we took our week long summer vacation and went to Gatlinburg for a long weekend and then went o Myrtle Beach for a few days. I LOVE Gatlinburg. I often joke that it's like going to the county fair in the mountains, but it's always so relaxing! We swam most of the time, walked around, did some shopping and of course ate at some of our favorite restaurants, Pancake Pantry , Best Italian , The Apple Barn , and the Old Mill.

Dave, Monica, Petyon, and Parker Perales met us in Myrtle Beach. Jayme and Dave have been great friends since college and we LOVE hanging out with this family! This was our 3rd (I think) time going on vacation with them, but the first with the kids. We spent most of the time at the pool. It was HOT..... so hot that the pools felt like bath water. We also went to the Aquarium and did some shopping (of course!).
